Basic Square Dance Class Introductory Instruction and Basic Calls For Mainstream Proficiency

Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:00 PM Start July 16, 2024 Fun - Filled Dance Class Dancer fee is $10 per session. The Class is OPEN: 1. To all NEW DANCERS (until July 30), ages 10 years and older . 2. Also to EXPERIENCED dancers to brush up skills. 3. Also to DANCERS ATTENDING CLASSES at other clubs seeking additional dance practice and floor time. Learn and enjoy square dancing. Meet new friends, have FUN with moderate exercise. Partners not required. Couples and singles WELCOME. Dress is CASUAL. No dance experience required. Multi-age Participation: Ages 10 and up can participate. Adolescents to be accompanied by adult.

Dancer Fee Information Participants pay session-by-session OR receive discount by paying for all future sessions in advance.

Angels Skilled square dancers who assist the class instructor are called "Angels". They also assist with setup and cleanup of the hall. Angels also practice and refine basic dance skills. The Angel fee is a "whatever" donation ($5 per session suggested). Note: Class set-up time is 6:00PM.

Visitors Visitors are encouraged on a drop-in basis - a great opportunity for new dancers in other club classes to gain floor time.  Also experienced dancers who have gotten a little rusty can brush up. Visiting dancer and Angel fees are the same as for Sandpipers.

Casual attire. Meet new friends. Moderate exercise. Everyone welcome. Stay fit while having fun. Join a lively group activity. Singles - Couples - Families. Dance experience not required.
